Elegant vintage trinket box featuring an ornate gilt metal (ormolu-style) hexagonal case with raised floral and laurel relief panels. The lid is topped with a hand-painted porcelain cabochon depicting pink and multicolor flowers. Interior is lined in red velvet and the box stands on three decorative feet. Marked “Japan” on the base. Likely mid-20th century Japanese export decorative box, ideal for jewelry, rings, or vanity display.
