These ivory satin opera gloves were worn on stage by Hildegarde Loretta Sells (1906–2005) — the internationally recognized cabaret vocalist known as “The Incomparable Hildegarde.” She performed for royalty, U.S. presidents, and was one of the defining icons of mid-century supper club culture and early queer nightlife.

This set includes:

This artifact was researched, organized, and curated by me, which I personally have preserved the gloves with care as part of a personal study collection focusing on glove history, cabaret performance costuming, and feminine stage identity symbolism.
