For sale is a unique and high-quality vintage studio pottery vase. This is not a common item; it appears to be Japanese studio work, rarely seen. It features a beautiful celadon green "crackle" (crazing) glaze, a bamboo motif with an artist's chop (seal), and distinctive "corset" style lacing cutouts.
This is a premium, rare piece that isn't easily found Stateside.
Condition:
* Excellent pre-owned vintage condition.
* There are no chips or cracks. The glaze is clean, and the crazing (crackle) is an intentional part of the design.
* Flaw: There is one small, white scuff on the unglazed bisque (please see photos). This is a minor detail, noted for full disclosure.
