Ma-Ba 30th Anniversary Happy Bridal Barbie Doll. Vintage Japan Barbie - 1989. New, never removed from Box. VERY RARE! After Mattel ended it's licensing agreement w/Takara, they immediately entered into an agreement w/Bandai Co Ltd of Japan in 1986. They named the company Ma-Ba, for the first 2 letters of Mattel & Bandai. This Happy Bridal Barbie Doll is wearing an elaborate lace gown in white w/embellishments to add glam to her wedding look. Accessories in Box. There's a couple of different versions of Happy Bridal & this is the rarest. Some have pink dresses. Selling @ approx $180 used to $350 to $1,000 for used & new. Truly a gorgeous display piece! I've had this awhile & never removed doll but box has obvious shelf wear from storage & age.
