Jackie only liked being called by his common name..during his younger life "Jack" this is why the bat is engraved with his birth name instead of the later " Jackie" that was later given to him from racist sports writers who were trying to belittle him and his worth on a baseball field. Jackie become a legend in 1947 when he broke the color barrier in baseball and became the first negro in professional baseball with the Dodgers. 38.2 ounces
